Each rug is an exquisite work of art created to reflect the personality
of the client and enhance their lifestyle. With shape and size limited
only by the imagination and an extraordinary array of textures and colors,
the possibilities are endless. Unsurpassed in quality every rug is hand-crafted
from finest wool and silk for a lifetime of enjoyment.
Every project is of equal concern. Each is personally directed by one of the principals of la Musa. The portfolio of custom designs and actual samples of the Rugs are available for review. These represent the multitude of styles, textures and qualities. The designer is able to work from the floor plan and photos/video, supplied by the client, A personal meeting is recommended and is mutually beneficial. The designer acquires a better understanding of the client, and thus can create a more personalized artistic interpretation that not only meets the clients specifications but also reflects their individual style. Not required, but also helpful is a site visit. This allows for field measurements to be taken, thus guarding against any discrepancies in the plans. Each of these steps can be combined into one on-site meeting with the designer presenting the portfolio and samples for clients review. Henceforth the design work can commence immediately. Within 30 days of the initial meeting a computer generated color rendering is presented for approval. This details the pattern, scale and colors of proposed rug. Upon request a Virtual Reality rendering can be supplied. The conceptual rug design is placed in the specified room (of which the client is required to supply a suitable photo). This gives the client the best visual rendition of what the rug will look like in the location it was designed for. The next step is the production of a sample section of the rug in the selected design, quality, color and texture. This takes less than six weeks from the approval of the rendering. At this time, further enhancements can be made before production begins. The rug is hand-crafted and should take approximately four months to complete. It will be shipped direct from our production facility overseas to any location in the world. la Musa also offers professional interior design service and select European antiques. Showcased amid the furnishings are exquisite works of art by both noted and emerging artists.
